Pied Cordons

I have a Pied cordon hen - she is about 50 % pied - and I wa nt a partner for her but can not find another pied at the moment. if I put a normal cock with her will she breed PIED's or - ie is it a dominant mutation ?

the pied cordon in my experience is a recessive mutation so if you put her with a normal cock you will get all normal young split for pied.

that is what i thought - I will put a normal with her and wait until i can get a split or a coloured bird.
