To be fair though I have no idea about prices in Syd, I'm in WA & that is pretty pricey for WA [/quote]

apa_parrots I wrote that ^ but since you're down right rude to me I take that back!

So I'm interested apa_parrots, EXACTLY what is wrong with my parrot that made him sooo cheap??? I'd really like to know, what do you see that's made him a through back. Why did I get what I paid for??? Sorry I must be blind as a bat cos all I see is a clean healthy jouvenile ekkie, so tell me apa_parrots what's wrong with him?

I've just come in on this thread. Fact of life is that when you advertise an item or service for a certain price people are going to comment. Deal with it. I'm sure many of us have complained about the price of petrol, but do we expect the service station attendent to turn around and say well if you didn't have such a crap car..blah blah. I don't think so. What you have said is rude and crosses the personal boundary line with Kim. Your prices were there for public scrutiny. Searching for pics of Kims ekkie (who it took me awhile to find and is gorgeous) was unnecessary.
Right I'm off my soap box.
PS Sorry Kim, I don't know you but this attack on you annoyed me.

Perhaps if you had just left your reply at "Thats what they sell for over here" then it would have been enough. But to add a deliberately inflaming comment such as "You get what you pay for" and then to attack someones bird directly with nasty comments is completely uncalled for.
I was simply commenting on the difference of prices between the states, after all we pay over $600 for a good handraised Sulphur over here where they are heaps cheaper in the east.

Perhaps some comments were uncalled for on all sides but retaliating as you did you are bound to get peoples backs up.

Perhaps you would like to take a look at Monty on the Eclectus forum and critisize him also. I would just love to hear your views on him. After all I paid less than half what your asking so maybe he's completely inferior to yours? I doubt it somehow.
